The Monographपरिचय Overview

'Apna Jivan Prem Kahani' is a song from the 1943 social comedy Chhed Chhad, with lyrics by Rajjan and music by Mushtaq Hussain. Available secondary listings record the title and credits but not the playback singer; the lyric frames the lovers' shared life itself as a love story, a recurring conceit in the social romances of the era.
The Music

Composed by Mushtaq Hussain in the melody-first idiom typical of early-1940s social films, the song's reflective lyric suggests a gentle, lyrical setting — the kind of tender romantic melody around which Hussain built the softer interludes of a comic film's score.
