'Aa Der Na Kar Aise Mein' is one of eight songs from the 1944 social-musical Rangile Dost, all written by lyricist A. G. Badar and set to music by Ninu Majumdar. Its title, an entreaty not to tarry, places it squarely in the romantic-yearning register that the wartime Bombay studios favoured. The recording is not traced in surviving archives, so the song is preserved through its documented title rather than an audible performance.

The number was composed by Ninu Majumdar, the Gujarati composer-singer whose 1940s scores blended light-classical phrasing with the melodic accessibility of mainstream filmi song. As with the rest of the Rangile Dost soundtrack, the orchestration and raga base are undocumented, but Majumdar's style of the period favoured restrained, tuneful arrangements over heavy instrumentation.
