Synopsisमराठी साहसिक फ़िल्म 'अग्निकंकण' का हिंदी रूपांतरण, 'जलती निशानी' सामंती संघर्ष की पृष्ठभूमि में सम्मान, विश्वासघात और मुक्ति की कहानी है। वी. शांताराम ने प्रभात फ़िल्म कंपनी के लिए गोविंदराव टेंबे के 15 गीतों के साथ इसे बनाया, जिसमें युवा गजानन जागीरदार ने पच्चीस साल की उम्र में सत्तर साल के किरदार से परदे पर पदार्पण किया।

Hindi adaptation of the Marathi adventure film Agnikankan (Branded Oath), Jalti Nishani is a swashbuckling tale of honour, betrayal and redemption set against a backdrop of feudal conflict. Directed by V. Shantaram for Prabhat Film Company with 15 musical numbers by Govindrao Tembe, the film gave a young Gajanan Jagirdar his screen debut — playing a seventy-year-old man at the age of twenty-five.
