Twinkle Handa makes an unannounced return home for Diwali and immediately destabilises her family's fragile equilibrium. Old disputes resurface, concealed truths emerge, and the mythology of homecoming collides with who her family members have actually become. Directed by Aditya Chandiok and produced by Terribly Tiny Tales, this 52-minute Netflix comedy-drama was released on 17 October 2025 as a Diwali special. Ahsaas Channa leads in her Netflix debut, and reviewers praised the film's warm but unsentimental treatment of domestic conflict.

Background score only by Anshul Thakkar. No standalone songs were released. Reviewers noted the score's warm, delicate quality — purposefully understated beneath domestic confrontations and moments of Diwali-season nostalgia.

Greater Kalesh is a compact Diwali special — at 52 minutes, barely a feature — that uses the homecoming festival occasion to explore the gap between a family's mythology of itself and who its members have actually become. Produced by Terribly Tiny Tales, one of India's most prominent short-form digital storytelling studios, and released directly on Netflix as a Diwali 2025 exclusive, it represents the platform's appetite for culturally-timed special content. Ahsaas Channa's Netflix debut was noted as a performance that outgrew the film's modest length.

As a Netflix Diwali exclusive, Greater Kalesh was consumed predominantly during the festival weekend and in the weeks following. Anshul Thakkar's understated score served the film's intimate domestic register well without generating independent streaming traction. The film is occasionally cited as an example of effective culturally-timed content from a digital storytelling brand with an established social media following.
