Sushant Saxena stars as a successful filmmaker and Annie Sekhon as his partner — a couple who, in pursuit of a dream life together, settle in a mysterious location concealing dark secrets. Shot across India and New Zealand by Vega Films (NZ) Limited, the film fuses paranormal horror with intimate romance: the picturesque setting gradually unearths buried truths about betrayal and loss as unseen forces erode the bond between them. Director Ashish Saxena described it as a genre-defying narrative exploring how love can simultaneously sustain and destroy human relationships.

The Monographमहत्व Significance

Broken Harmony is a small-scale India–New Zealand co-production notable as a genre experiment blending paranormal horror with intimate romance. Shot across both countries by Vega Films (NZ) Limited, the film represented an attempt to bring an international production collaboration into Hindi genre cinema. Akshay Raju Saxena's score-only soundtrack — with no commercial song album — reflects the filmmaker's minimalist approach to a niche horror-romance narrative.
Legacy

Broken Harmony received tepid critical reception upon its April 2026 release; reviewers found the music functional but below standard and the narrative uneven. The film's modest scope and niche genre positioning limited its mainstream reach. It occupies a minor place in the India-New Zealand cinematic exchange landscape, and its documented legacy is primarily as an exercise in cross-country co-production rather than a musical or narrative landmark.
