'Koi Naa' is the romantic flagship of Tanishk Bagchi's seven-song soundtrack for Bhool Chuk Maaf (T-Series, 2025), Maddock Films' comedy about a man trapped in a Varanasi time loop. Sung by Punjabi singer Harnoor and Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, the 3:41-minute ballad released 16 April 2025 via Sony Music Entertainment India becomes the film's emotional heart — a love song suspended in the loop's impossible time, where neither character can move forward.

Tanishk Bagchi builds 'Koi Naa' on a foundation of sustained piano chords and a cushioned string arrangement that creates space for the vocal interplay between Harnoor and Shreya Ghoshal. Harnoor's Punjabi-inflected delivery — smoother than his typical folk-pop work — is well-matched by Ghoshal's precision; the two voices never crowd each other, instead creating a conversation across registers that mirrors the film's literal conversation across loops of time. The production is restrained for Bagchi, who tends toward lusher arrangements — here the emptiness around the voices is the point.

Irshad Kamil's lyric places 'koi naa' (no one / never mind) at the emotional centre — a phrase that oscillates between resignation and consolation. Harnoor was brought in specifically because director Karan Sharma wanted a male voice that would sit between mainstream Bollywood and contemporary Punjabi pop — a meeting point the largely South-Indian-trained roster of Mumbai session singers couldn't easily provide. Bagchi, who frequently works with Punjabi artists, made the recommendation.

'Koi Naa' became the most-streamed song from the Bhool Chuk Maaf album, with Shreya Ghoshal's fan base amplifying its reach considerably beyond the film's core audience. It received consistent playlist placement on Spotify India's romance and late-night playlists throughout 2025.
