हाउसफुल 5 मिक्सटेप

Housefull 5 Mixtape is a medley compilation from the fifth instalment of the Housefull franchise (2025), featuring multiple singers across a two-minute forty-second track that references the franchise's earlier musical highlights. With original composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Sajid-Wajid and lyricist Sameer Anjaan, the mixtape functions as both a nostalgic greatest-hits reel for long-time fans and as a high-energy dance sequence within the film itself. Released by T-Series on the occasion of the film's 6 June 2025 theatrical opening.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Sajid-Wajid's involvement in the Housefull 5 Mixtape is primarily archival — they are the composers of the original tracks being referenced rather than new material. The production thread that stitches the medley together is credited to the new album's production framework. The result is a rapid-cut musical collage that demands knowledge of the franchise's earlier songs to be fully enjoyable, functioning more as an easter egg for dedicated fans than a standalone track.

Sameer Anjaan — one of Bollywood's most prolific lyricists of the 2000s-2010s, with credits including the Housefull franchise's earlier songs — revisits his own work in the Mixtape context. The lyric is less a new composition than a stitching together of familiar phrases that trigger franchise memory for the audience.

Franchise mixtapes have become a standard feature of Bollywood's multi-sequel franchises — Rohit Shetty's Golmaal films have done it, as has the Dhoom series. For Housefull 5, the Mixtape served the dual purpose of celebrating the franchise's 15+ year history while also creating a ready-made nostalgia marketing moment for the film's promotional campaign.

Housefull 5 Mixtape is less a song than a commercial strategy — a streaming-friendly reference track that accumulates plays from franchise nostalgia. As such it is a reflection of how 2025 Bollywood soundtracks are increasingly architected for algorithmic distribution as much as for genuine artistic expression.
