"Saree" is the third and final pre-release single from Dhamaal 4 (2026), released on 28 June 2026 under T-Series. A Bollywood reimagining by Tanishk Bagchi of Sanju Rathod's viral 2024 Marathi hit 'Gulabi Sadi', the song features Riteish Deshmukh — himself from Maharashtra — alongside Anjali Anand in a pink saree celebration. The launch event featured 800 women dressed in pink sarees, turning the song release into a spectacle. At 3:56, it is the longest pre-release single and serves as the album's romantic anchor.

Tanishk Bagchi's reimagining of Gulabi Sadi into Saree retains the original's celebratory Marathi-pop DNA while adding the production sheen required for a Bollywood franchise placement. The dhol-heavy arrangement, the staccato melody, and Sanju Rathod's distinctive nasal baritone remain the core. Bagchi and G-SPXRK layer additional Bollywood orchestration that makes the track feel at home in a mainstream theatrical context.

The lyric's central image — a woman beautiful in her pink saree — draws on a long Marathi and Hindi folk tradition of celebrating the saree as an expression of feminine grace. Kumaar and Sanju Rathod's Hindi reimagining adds warmth and accessibility while retaining the Marathi flavour of the original.

Sanju Rathod shared that reimagining his own hit for a Bollywood franchise was an emotionally significant experience. The original Gulabi Sadi reached over 300 million views on YouTube and became one of the biggest Marathi-language hits of 2024. For Dhamaal 4, Riteish Deshmukh — born in Latur, Maharashtra — was the obvious choice to front the song, given his natural connection to Marathi culture. The launch event (800 pink sarees) generated enormous social media coverage.

Saree exemplifies a 2024-26 trend of major Marathi-language viral hits being reimagined for Hindi Bollywood films — following a similar pattern seen with Munjya's regional crossover. It also demonstrates Tanishk Bagchi's skill as a Bollywood reimaginer of regional hits.
