Among the most intense of Irada's (1944) documented songs, this lament turns on the hyperbolic image of weeping tears of blood — a heightened register familiar to the Urdu-Hindi film verse of the 1940s. Music is by Pandit Amarnath and the words by Aziz Kashmiri; the catalogue listing preserves no singer for the track.

For so grief-laden a lyric Pandit Amarnath would have held the tempo slow and the texture bare — harmonium sustaining the melodic line while the sarangi mirrors the voice's anguished bends, the tabla keeping only the lightest of pulses. It is the sombre end of the chamber idiom that the Calcutta studios favoured for tragic situations.
