Rich Life is a September 2024 international collaboration single pairing American rap icon Rick Ross with Indian Punjabi-pop star Guru Randhawa, produced by Dubai-based DJ Shadow Dubai and presented by Gaurang Doshi through Phoenixx Music Global. Released on 19 September 2024, the track and its Dubai desert-shot music video — directed by B2gethers Pros (Mahi Sandhu and Joban Sandhu) with Andrew Qval Kovalev and starring Sarah Shareef — frame the song as, in the label's own words, a meeting where 'East meets West, swagger meets stardom.' Both Ross and Randhawa are credited as co-writers, with DJ Shadow Dubai composing, producing, and mixing the track.

DJ Shadow Dubai builds Rich Life on a mid-tempo hip-hop/trap chassis — programmed beats, synth bass, and the kind of glossy, boss-rap production associated with Rick Ross's American catalogue — before threading in Guru Randhawa's more melodic Punjabi-pop delivery. It is a production designed explicitly as a cross-cultural bridge rather than a Bollywood or Punjabi song with a guest verse: both artists share writing credit, and DJ Shadow Dubai handles composition, production, and mixing under the Phoenixx Music Global banner.

The verified opening lines — 'I'm the one and not the two, private jets for the crew, Dubai what it do, the rich and milly ice blue' — set the song's register from the first bar: hip-hop braggadocio built entirely around wealth, exclusivity, and status, delivered in English before Guru Randhawa's Punjabi verses widen the song's address to an Indian audience. There is no metaphorical dressing here in the classical filmi sense — the lyric is a direct, chant-like list of luxury signifiers, matching the genre conventions of contemporary trap-rap rather than Hindi-film songwriting traditions.

Presented by producer Gaurang Doshi (with Niti Agarwal as co-producer) through Phoenixx Music Global, Rich Life brought together three names from three different music scenes — Rick Ross from American hip-hop, Guru Randhawa from Indian Punjabi pop, and DJ Shadow Dubai from the UAE's club circuit. The official video, shot against Dubai's desert dunes and starring Sarah Shareef, was directed by B2gethers Pros (Mahi Sandhu and Joban Sandhu) alongside filmmaker Andrew Qval Kovalev. Speaking about the collaboration, Guru Randhawa called it 'an unforgettable journey working with incredible artists from the music industry,' while Rick Ross said it 'was a pleasure working with an Indian artist, Guru Randhawa, and the finest musician, DJ Shadow Dubai.'

Rich Life stands out in both artists' catalogues as a rare direct pairing of a major American rap star with an Indian Punjabi-pop star — the kind of collaboration more often attempted through remote guest verses than a shared video shoot. The official video has drawn well over 13 million YouTube views, and the track's framing as a deliberate 'East meets West' statement — repeated in both artists' public comments — positions it as a marker of Indian pop music's growing international crossover ambitions in the mid-2020s.
