Nazara (A Beautiful Sight) was the lead single from Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan (Zee Music Company, 2025), released 11 June 2025 — a month before the film's 11 July theatrical opening. Composed, written and sung entirely by Vishal Mishra, the 4:11 track generates a tender irony: a song about the splendour of sight embedded in a romance between two visually impaired protagonists. It became the album's most-streamed track and the principal marketing vehicle for Santosh Singh's Ruskin Bond adaptation starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor (her film debut).

Nazara opens with a delicate guitar arpeggio before Mishra's voice enters in his characteristic low-to-middle register — intimate, unhurried. The mid-tempo arrangement gives gentle forward momentum suited to the film's train-journey setting. Strings swell in the chorus with classical Indian harmonic sensibility, and a subtle acoustic-electronic blend keeps the song contemporary without sacrificing warmth.

The title Nazara — Urdu/Persian for 'visual spectacle' — is a masterstroke of irony for a story about blindness. Mishra's lyrics use imagery of mountains, light and colour that the protagonists know only through imagination, rendering these sensations achingly beautiful precisely because they are dreamed rather than seen.

Composed before filming and used as a reference track on set by director Santosh Singh to calibrate the emotional temperature of key scenes, Nazara was released a month before the film's opening. Its strong streaming reception made Mishra's triple creative role a prominent talking point in Hindi music circles.

Nazara became the album's most-streamed song, frequently cited as its best track despite the film's ₹2.35 crore box-office. Fans of Mishra's introspective sound style adopted it as emblematic of his best work.
