Jayeshbhai Jordaar, directed by Divyang Thakkar, centres on Jayesh Patel (Ranveer Singh), a quietly progressive man in a patriarchal Gujarati household who ultimately flees his village with his pregnant wife Mudra (Shalini Pandey) to protect her and their unborn daughter from his domineering father Pruthvishbhai (Boman Irani). Dil Ki Gali arrives as one of the film's tender romantic interludes between Jayesh and Mudra, offering a moment of soft intimacy within a story that otherwise moves between social commentary and broad comedy.
