Set in 1988 — seven years after the original Raid — IRS officer Amay Patnaik conducts his 75th raid, targeting the sprawling criminal empire of corrupt politician Manohar Dhankar. The investigation uncovers benami properties, shell companies, and the exploitation of vulnerable women. As raids recover illegal cash, property documents, and a gold statue, Amay engineers the criminal's surrender. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film opened with ₹19.71 crore domestically and crossed ₹100 crore in its opening weekend, ultimately becoming the seventh-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 at ₹243.06 crore worldwide.

T-Series released the soundtrack on 30 April 2025, the day before the film's release. 'Kamle' by Sachet-Parampara (released 16 April 2025) emerged as the album's biggest hit. Amit Trivedi's restrained background score amplified the IRS procedural atmosphere without overpowering it.

Raid 2 became the seventh-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, validating the franchise's commercial sustainability. 'Kamle' by Sachet-Parampara continued charting on music streaming platforms months after the film's release, becoming one of 2025's more durable musical successes. The performance reinforced Ajay Devgn's standing as a reliable theatrical draw outside the traditional action-hero mould.
