A small-scale independent Hindi sci-fi supernatural thriller notable for its 79-minute narrative discipline and its distinctive time-travel-to-British-India premise — a historical frame still rare in Hindi genre cinema. Written by and starring Sudhanshu Rai, Baida represents the growing ecosystem of micro-budget genre films accessing theatrical release in India in 2025. The score-only approach by Ronada Bakkesh and Karthik Chennoji Rao serves the thriller register without the commercial album expectations of mainstream productions.
Legacy
