After years of estrangement from her adult son Ketan (Vatsal Sheth), who has built a polished urban life in Mumbai, she is invited to visit. When Ketan and his family depart for a holiday, Jaishnavi is left alone in the apartment to care for their pet dog — an animal she initially fears. The unlikely bond that forms between an ageing woman and a dog becomes the film's emotional spine, as Jaishnavi rediscovers her capacity for joy, connection, and self-worth in the city she initially found indifferent.
