An Indian adaptation of the 2014 Canadian romantic film In My Dreams, Sweet Dreams follows Kenny (Amol Parashar) and Dia (Mithila Palkar), two strangers in Mumbai who begin inexplicably sharing each other's dreams. Directed by Victor Mukherjee and released on Disney+ Hotstar, the film uses the dreamscape as a space where two emotionally guarded people can finally be honest with each other. The film runs 109 minutes and blends romantic comedy with light supernatural elements — asking whether a connection forged in dreams can survive the harsher light of waking life. Written and directed by Victor Mukherjee, it was produced by Jio Studios and Mango People Media.

Sweet Dreams features a two-song original soundtrack — Naina Lage (composed and sung by Mukund Suryawanshi, lyrics by Anjali Khandelwal, 3:19 min) and Tu Behja (composed by Akashdeep Sengupta, sung by Shruti Pathak and Akshay The One, lyrics by Shloke Lal and Akshay The One, 3:39 min). Total original album runtime: 6:58. Released under Worldwide Records.

Sweet Dreams is a small-scale OTT romantic comedy notable as an Indian adaptation of the 2014 Canadian film In My Dreams, pairing the well-regarded indie actors Amol Parashar and Mithila Palkar. Musically, its two-song soundtrack — Naina Lage and Tu Behja — takes a restrained, intimate approach appropriate for the dreamlike tone of the story. Shruti Pathak's vocal contribution to Tu Behja gives the album a distinguished anchor, while Mukund Suryawanshi's self-composed-and-sung Naina Lage represents the growing presence of singer-songwriter composers in Hindi OTT originals. The film exemplifies Disney+ Hotstar's mid-tier romantic content strategy for urban Indian audiences.

Sweet Dreams occupied a modest but pleasant critical space at its January 2025 Disney+ Hotstar release, with its gentle premise and likeable leads earning positive word-of-mouth among urban streaming audiences. As a small OTT original, it generated limited critical discourse, and its musical legacy is confined to the two songs, which may continue as playlist additions rather than standalone viral tracks. A low-key but earnest contribution to Hindi streaming romantic comedy.
