Interrogation is a 2025 Hindi-language psychological thriller directed by Ajoy Varma Raja, released on ZEE5 on May 30, 2025. The film opens with the discovery of a retired judge's body at his home; four individuals who visited him on the day of his death are brought in for questioning. As each interrogation session unfolds, the detective peels back layers of concealed motives, family secrets, and long-nursed grievances, arriving at an unexpected conclusion about guilt and innocence. The film received a 7.1 rating on IMDb, placing it among the better-reviewed ZEE5 originals of 2025. The narrative draws on the closed-room mystery tradition while foregrounding the psychological dimensions of guilt — suggesting that the most important interrogation is the one a person conducts with themselves. The minimal soundtrack by Varun Sunil — just two vocal songs released by Panorama Music — serves to punctuate rather than underscore the thriller's steady tension.

The two-song soundtrack ('Aye Maa' and 'Kaun Jaane') by Varun Sunil, sung by Sonu Nigam (both songs) and Ritika Parmeshwar, was released by Panorama Music on August 28, 2025 — three months after the film's ZEE5 premiere. At under 4 minutes total, the album functions as a curated emotional supplement to the film rather than a standalone music release. 'Aye Maa' (2:27) is the more prominent track, appearing in a pivotal scene about maternal bonds and guilt.

A restrained ZEE5 psychological thriller notable for earning a 7.1 IMDb rating — unusually high for a first-run OTT original in 2025 — and for Varun Sunil's minimal two-song soundtrack (under 4 minutes total) that functioned as emotional punctuation rather than conventional film music. The three-month gap between the film's ZEE5 premiere and the soundtrack release itself signals a score-first approach that is rare in commercial Hindi cinema.

Among the better-reviewed ZEE5 originals of 2025, with Rajpal Yadav's against-type dramatic performance singled out by critics. Sonu Nigam's 'Aye Maa' (released 28 August 2025) found a quiet audience on streaming. The film's restraint — in both drama and music — represents a durable model for quality psychological OTT originals.
