Rochak Kohli and Justin Prabhakaran shared composing duties; lyricists Gurpreet Saini and Raj Shekhar wrote the words. The soundtrack released June 27, 2025 on Sony Music India, 17:44 total runtime. 'Jab Tu Sajan' (Mohit Chauhan) and 'Dhuan Dhuan' (Sanjith Hegde) are two moods of the same love — its bloom and its ache.

A Netflix original romantic comedy that centres love between genuinely middle-aged adults — Madhavan's 42-year-old Sanskrit professor and Fatima Sana Shaikh's 32-year-old French instructor — a demographic almost entirely absent from mainstream Hindi romance. The film's honest treatment of age-appropriate love in a dating-app era reflects growing OTT audience appetite for relatable adult stories beyond the traditional 20s hero-heroine model. Mohit Chauhan's 'Jab Tu Sajan' offered warm, non-commercial romanticism within the Sony Music soundtrack.

Received mixed critical reviews (Rotten Tomatoes 40%) but found an appreciative Netflix audience drawn by Madhavan's likeable performance and the relatable adult premise. Mohit Chauhan's 'Jab Tu Sajan' was warmly received. The film extended Netflix India's 2025 slate of adult-oriented romantic comedies and contributed to the OTT trend of giving established actors lead vehicles outside the traditional theatrical star system.
