One of the nine documented songs from the 1944 film Laheri Badmash, composed by Avinash Vyas to lyrics by Sadiq Lakhnavi. No singer is attributed in the surviving catalogue, and the song's placement in the now-undocumented narrative is unknown.

Avinash Vyas would have set so reflective a lyric in a slow, spare arrangement — harmonium and tabla framing the melody, with sarangi shading the longing in the line.
